born to be outside
At Tiny Toadstools Forest School & Kindergarten, we believe in nurturing children's natural curiosity through authentic outdoor exploration. We believe childhood should be filled with muddy boots, curious minds, adventurous play, and meaningful connections with nature. Our outdoor nursery offers children the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world through hands-on exploration, creativity, and child-led discovery. Whether children are building dens, splashing in puddles, hunting for minibeasts, creating nature crafts, climbing logs, or gathering around the campfire, they are developing important social, physical, and emotional skills through real-life experiences. Above all, Tiny Toadstools Forest School & Kindergarten is a place where children can simply be children.

Hazel Hollow, our home ed group for 5-11yrs, meet every Friday (term time). This is a drop off group between 10am-3pm and includes nature exploration, habitat building and learning about the world around us.

During the school holidays we run sessions for 3-7yr olds to explore our woodland, cook on the campfire and climb trees...childhood as nature intended!
